Hi everyone has anyone stayed at pars place in pattaya

It's opposite the LK Pavilion which is very good value for medium stays, so can't imagine many people staying at Pars.

Have nipped in Pars for the odd coffee and have never seen anybody about. Also the Internet is extremely slow.

Nice place, biggish rooms and clean. I haven't stayed there but often drop in for their all day breakfast and have had laundry done there. Its a good value guesthouse and is well run. The speed of the internet (mentioned by Flimflam) does sometimes vary like it does virtually everywhere in Pattaya, but 90% of the time it is quite quick and there are 3 computers available in the bar for about 20 baht per hour but I think its free if you are staying there. Has many regulars who stay there each time they come to Pattaya. Its not a girly bar and usually closes about 8pm so you can get a good nights sleep without downstairs disturbances.

Yes an Aussie called Bernie & he is a nice guy. It's always my first port of call & I was going to post a glowing review, but he only has 5 rooms & I don't want to shoot myself in the foot.

 

Par is Bernie's ex-wife, who used to run his old place in Phucket. He has a new GF now named Wan.

I cant praise Par's Place enough, for 700 baht per night all year round its fantastic value imho.

 

As has been said the owner is an Australian guy named Bernie who is a great bloke and cant do enough for you. (he is the closest person in the first pic)

 

I have stayed there a few times and it will always be my first choice now.

 

The rooms have everything you could want including Queen Size Bed,Bathroom, Balcony,Big Fridge, Microwave,Tea,Coffee and Kettle, Sink Unit, TV (Cable) + DVD Player, Free WiFi

 

Looms are cleaned everyday

2 bottles of Free Water per day

4 PC's downstairs at a 50% discount to Guests

Breakfasts are excellent at a price of 6 items for 100baht

The Laundry service is superb, its done in-house,is very cheap and washed, ironed and ready in only a few hours.

Bar with Pool Table and Sports TV

 

It is located directly opposite the LK Pavillion hotel (whose Pool you can use at a cost of 50baht per day) on the junction of Third Road and Pattaya Tai so in a peaceful area.

Par's Place is a 10 minute walk to Walking St or 5 minutes to 2nd Road to hop on a Songkaew, motorbike taxi's are also readily hanging around.

Just wanted to bump this. I highly recommend this place. The staff is great and rooms are very nice.
