Book hotels through PayPal

Why would you choose to use PayPal? You are in a stronger position if you pay directly with your credit card. In the UK at least PayPal forbids chargebacks in their terms and conditions so if things go wrong, eg. the hotel goes bust, then you going to have to chase PayPal for a refund rather than your credit card company where you have the consumer credit act to back you up.

I guess it depends on the vendor.

 

I booked a flight with Swiss airways on the Lufthansa website where I paid with Paypal and

 

after had to cancel the flight the same day I was supposed to fly.

 

I got my money refunded back onto my Paypal account. It took a few days but

 

ended without a glitch, no problem.

 

 

However the Paypal idea is specifically thought for those who will not , cannot , or do not want

 

to use credit cards. Then there's people who out max their cards and just might want to stop

 

using them. Transfer your money via e-banking to your paypal account and use that , leave the credit

 

cards for the real emergencies.

After booking flights and hotels using Paypal I'll be travelling again soon and after

True. I always use Agoda as collecting the reward points makes it much cheaper long term for me. I always use PayPal - dont have a CC :(

it is very secure and easy to use virtual credit cards on internet.

I have been using paypal for deposits for 4 years and never had a problem, its easy to refund if needed and its a good way to track everything, we offer to hold the deposit for a year should you have to change dates etc.
