Hotels with Remote controlled Air Conditioning

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a hotel, for about up to 1500 baht per night

in the Second Road area, with air con, controlled by remote?

I stayed at Royal Twins hotel in June, and the air con was terrible

My mate was ill and had a fever, I asked the hotel, if I could have a fan,

they repled "No,you have to go to Big C,and buy one"

The hotel, has great rooms, but unfortunately the management, are not keeping the hotel

up to scratch - so to speak.

Does Areca,Sandy Springs,or Whitehouse have air-con with remote control?

Any advice,greatly appreciated gents.

Cheers

Miko

I'd recommend the Whitehouse, great rooms, very clean, just make sure they've finished the pool on the roof. I paid 1200 a night in june,

Cheers,

I'll second what DD said.

I stayed at the Whitehouse Condotel in June & would return without any hesitations.

Hi Esco.

The Air con in Royal Twins, is terrible, as its never cleaned.

Rooms are big and spacious - but as the air con is crap, it makes you feel like a zombie :Raspberry6:

Hi there,

Was planning to stay at Royal twins in November and as you have stayed, could you tell me how they are towards guests in the room? (they say they will have completed their refurbishment by the end of October).

Cheers,

I have been staying at Royal Twins about 3 times a year, for the past 9 years.

The hotel is gradually on the decline.

Rooms are very spacious.

It is no problem regarding guests into your room.

However, if you have more than 1 guest in your room,in a 24 hour period, there is a charge, I think about 300 baht.

I would take a look at the room, when you arrive, its good... but I found the air con was not cleaned out.

Its not good, when its not clean air, been blown into your room.

Location is ideal,

if you want to take a room.Ask to become a member, it costs about 300 baht, but it saves you about 200 baht a night, off the room.

Cheers
