Fresh guacomole in Pattaya!

Yes this is an American thing, but Bob's BarBQ next to Lolita's has fresh Guacomole with chips. It is not store bought either. Fresh avocados, onions, and tomatoes mashed together with a little salt and pepper. Very good and inexpensive. "And I am from South Texas."

Surely guacamole should also contain cilantro, a squeeze of lemon and a hint of garlic?

Thats how I do it anyhow!

I enjoyed the fresh avacodo dip. I am sure one can find faults in ANY restaurant in Pattaya when it comes to food. I also had the chicken fried steak. Decent, not the best. Meat a little tough.

There were spices as well, probably lemon or lime too.

I think Bob's gets a lot of undue flack.

When in Thailand, I prefer to stick to thai food. But occasionally, will eat at places like Bob's. Whenever I have been to Bob's the food has been pretty good - the hamburgers are probably the best bet and good value too.

However, the best yankie food in LOS has gotta be The Great American Rib co. Amazing ribs, top steaks and I also love the wings. If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing out. Not cheap, but quality rarely is. Alas no guacamole.

mikes mexican off thappraya rd makes a pretty kick ass fresh guacamole served with some fresh hot tortilla chips. I have been a customer and a friend of both bob and mike for a long time and i gotta give the guac award to mikes. super fresh with nice big chunks of avocado and an awesome flavor...

OMG! CILANTRO - GARLIC - FRESH ONIONS - DICED JALEPENOS - SALT - OF COURSE AVOCADOS - LIME JUICE / NOT LEMON JUICE!!

Anyone who uses lemon juice in quacamole should be - SHOT!

Maybe if you wanted it bit spicier - diced Solantro & fresh ground black pepper!

True - Southwest/mexican guacamole!!!

I'm estatic that Guacamole can be found in Pattaya...now if we can just get the supplier to get the avacaldos to a Jappanese restaurant so they can serve a proper California roll.
