Im heading for a few days next week to Patong with my other half and we are keen to sample the nightlife! Only problem is she is only 18. In Pattaya this never presents a problem and when it does its nothing 100baht wont solve into the doormans hand.

 

Will she struggle to get into Hollywood/Tiger etc??

No first hand experience myself but my guess would be it's no problem.

 

Is she Thai ? Does she look only 18 ?

Back already... Only one that would let her in was Tai Pan!!

 

Turned down from 3 others with Hollywood being particularly arsey about it, even turned down a 500baht tip to let her in! Didnt let it spoil out night, plenty fun bars to sit and drink the night away in

My brother was with me when he was 17 and we got in every night.

Like you said, wouldn't have been an issue anyway. Taipan is great despite the older crowd and the beers bars are always great value.

She has a baby face no doubt! But then many of the girls look young.

 

I think being a farrang you never get id`d but with the girls they are more strict. Her and all her friends can really only do 3 places on Walking Street in pattaya so its not just Phuket.
