UK Mobile Phones

It seems that a good mobile phone can be had here in England for cheaper than Thailand. As such Im tempted to buy one a take it out to my girl in a few weeks.

 

With iphones it is easy to change to thai as it is a pre set language. But most phone do not have this option. How easy is it to add a new language to most phones - specifically a samsung toco?

 

Would the price it costs to do this outweigh the 25% saving ill make?

I,m not sure but i would say it its not going to be easy, I think you would have to wipe the software and reinstall asian software. Probably better to buy a phone from hongkong on ebay which should have the thai already on it( but check first)

Ask the girl to pop in to tukcom and ask how much it will be beforehand. Don't know how the prices compare but all Carphone warehouse pay as you go are unlocked.
