Searched for R-Con and R Con on the board but could not find anything.

The rooms look very nice on the website, does anyone know if they are girl friendly?

Cheers.

Yes good location, large well furnished rooms. But the shower/toilet is like a large cupboard. If you stay a long time double check the electric/water meter readings. Good rates at the moment.

the shower/toilet all in one is a total nightmare, drives you mad after a couple of days

Someone stayed recently? Looks OK at 13k plus electric plus internet per month. But it seems like they pad the utility bill a lot from other threads. Maybe that can be managed if one let them know you are on top of things and demand to see the meter before and after?

Any feedback on the internet?

excellent location and 2 24hr bars below with endless supply tgf;s.

always check meter readings to avoid potential hassles anywhere you stay, as i have heard odd mumblings from previous residents there.

spent a lot of nights in the bars below over the summer, and all the girls liked the rooms and were "frequent flyers".

enjoy....

OK. Some positive feedback, thats good. Anyone used the Internet there?

So whats the barfine for ladies downstairs and the going rate? On the other hand seems like a bit of hastle, and potential bad atmosphere when you keep bringing back new ladies from outside. Or I guess they would be used to handling that there

In-room internet is wired, ask for a room that has cables/modem, as not all rooms do. The speed is decent and stable. You'll need to buy a card at reception to use it. They have different length cards, 1-day, 1-week, 1-month. Obviously the monthly one is the cheapest, but you can buy the daily one to test it out.

They also have free wifi down at the bar that also works downstairs in the lobby, you need to ask for password at the bar, which they give with no hassels.

I loved staying at the R Con as their rooms are huge, nicely furnished and have balconies. The only drawback are tiny bathrooms, but was no big deal for me. The breakfast is like 80 baht for omlette, toast and coffee and there's a market across the street on Bokaw with cheap and good food. There another serviced residence half a block away that will let you use their pool for 100 baht a day (I forget the name).
