How much are you happy to Pay each night?

I am just wondering, what is the average cost that we are happy to pay?

I live here now, but if I would be on holiday here I would say 500-1000. You can find great accomodation for this price.

I've paid between 500 and 1000 often. But for the upcoming trip I'm splashing out on some luxury rooms, so I'm entering the higher price for this poll.

i pay about 1300 a night for a good hotel room but if i stay more than a month i get a apartment

To me, I feel as long as my room doesn’t get robbed while I am out on WS, A/C works, room is clean, shower works and the internet works. I have no problem while I am on Holiday to spend 1500 Baht a night.

 

The most important thing, no problem to bring ST, LT back to my room.

ok, so I opened this post, to see if I was paying a tad to much ?

1200thb for a nice apartment, security , POOOOOL, room cleaned 3 times a week, separate kitchen, bedroom, living room also bathroom and balcony. the apartment was build 10 years ago, so everything is still nice and clean.

 

1200 sounds ok ish ?

Stayed at several venues during my stays in Pattaya, Bangkok, Suphanburi, Chiang Mai.

All had their good and bad things.

 

Prices I paid were between 900 and 1500 Baht a night (each time for a superior room).

 

Easiest is to have breakfast included, but there are cheap and good alternatives available.

Difficult to see A/C there at that price but I might be wrong. At least you wont be sharing with other BGs! I think a good way to go for me as well next time.

I've only ever paid more than 1000 a night in BKK and on the Islands (which are often more expensive). I can't stand air con, so a good basic room with a fan suits me.

i try to stay in the same place down soi honey, price is 500 baht a night. when i first stayed there, i wanted somewhere nice and cheap in a decent area so 500 baht a night was ideal, now i like to stay there because i love the place, love the people there (including the regular customers that i often see on my trips) and love the food. the only time i dont stay there now is when he is fully booked in which case i try to find somewhere else on soi LK Metro area for around the same price. having breakfast thrown in means nothing to me, i think in the whole of my life i have only ever made it to one breakfast in a hotel so i dont care for breakfast included deals. oh i stay at captains bar soi honey if anyones interested. its awesome.

I pay 1000 a night I stay at BJ lodge on Soi 3. It's clean have nice rooms and friendly staff. It is girl friendly. I find it good value for money.
