I’m only going to be in Patts for a week. Is it worth it to get a cell phone? Do they even have something like a pre-paid cell?

you can by a cheap Nokia for about 1000 baht..comes with SIM and a little bit of airtime...

 

don't use your unlocked phone there..roaming charges are outrageous.
