Where to stay for a whole month?

Hi guys,

 

my wife and I will visit Thailand this summer and we will stay most of our time in Bangkok. Are moving in a hotel if you are staying for one month or more, or do you rent a condo or a serviced appartment? We are not sure what to do. Should have a modern and nice look, and should be girlfriendly. Budget: 40000 Baht/Month. Any chance to find something nice on our budget?

 

Any recommendations?

I would say a condo would be best if its you and the wife because most hotels will charge you for bringing a girl back because their is already 2 people in the room. The charge is usually 500 baht so could cost you alot over a month.

If you rent a condo you can bring back as many as you like and not have to worry. Dancewatchers.com have some good condos daily and monthly rentals.

For 40000 you could have a real nice condo.

For a month stay, you are definitely best off renting a condo. But, you might expect me to say that.

For the budget you are on you will have no problem at all to find a condo/serviced apartment. I did have some good links but they dissapeared when my old labtop crashed. Will try to find them again and post them here in a few days.

I would avoid the hassle of renting a condo.

 

We have stayed in hotels up to 6 weeks.

 

We tried the rent a condo option only once.
