Hello Pattaya addicts.

I just came back from my first pattaya trip and become addicted.

So whas thinking why not join the clan haha :D.

Well i have a question.

I met a thai girl in pattaya and she gave me her phone number.

Now im back in Holland but she seems not to get my sms messages.

I have a Vodafone card and i called the customer service they said they dont have an network agreement with AIS and padc or something.

Well oke so i go to a normal telephone shop today and bought a Lebara sim card they said is shouldnt give any problems.

But after some messages again no respond so i decided to call Lebara´s Customer Service and guess what no network agreement either:@

So what do you guys suggest T Mobile? id like to hear

Never heard of this sort of problem before and I send text messages all over the world including Thailand using a Lebara card.

The number you are sending to does work? Have you tried calling it? This may sound daft but you are putting the country code in front of the number? Do you have to drop the first number?

You can send SMS’s from any mobile provider to any other mobile provider.

Thai mobile numbers are structured +66 8xx xxx xxx.

Perhaps the memory of her mobile got full of all kind of promotional messages here in Thailand.

Otherwise she lost her mobile or she must be cheating you.

BTW there is a Dutch language section on this forum.

IMO roaming agreements apply to voice connections only.

I think that SMS will always work.

They don't need a network agreement to send a message. I have lebara and it works fine. Email me the number and I will try it for you. Don't worry I'm not after the girl.
