Price? Cheap at 800 baht for a standard room with AC, fridge with mini bar, TV etc.

Or 880 if you want the complimentary breakfast (how is it complimentary if you're charged 80 baht)

 

Clean? Yes, all good. Room fully serviced each day.

 

Position? Long way from WS but that's why I chose it. Lot's of bars and shopping nearby.

 

All in all an excellent hotel for the price.

 

But I'll never stay there again for one simple reason.

It reads "Don't forget the maids, leave a tip on the TV" WTF???

This notice was stuck on the back of the door and again above the TV.

It also appears in the “About Us” folder.

Adding a service charge is controversial but begging on behalf of your cleaning staff?????

Just Google "shagwell pataya"

Food is typical Asian attempt at western. Frozen chips and so on. But lots of good tucker in bars and restaurants within walking distance.
