Hi, been to Pattaya a number of times but never been able to find a place that serves good Laos food (street food not sit down restaurant)and naturally a place where the girls from Laos also eat & meet.

If anyone has come accross a corner of Pattaya that caters for Laos people please reply

Is there such a thing as good Laos food? :GoldenSmile1:

Only kidding. I like some Laos food, It must be clean though which is difficult.

Every push cart full of little bags are usually Laos (Isarn) food. Or as a sit down, look at corners that have a grill, gas cooker & meats hanging in a glass cabinet. E.G. in front of the 7-Eleven on 3rd Rd, next to Bliss Lounge, that's not bad Laos food. On the street though if you can't speak the lingo or know the names of the meal, take a girl with you, cause they don't speak English, just cook well.

Also as Piece Corp said, Vientiane Restaurant off South Pattaya Rd is very good, you get a big choice of dishes from a few different countries.

lao food is not much different than the Issan food sold on the carts.

i don't know where the Lao people hang out it is almost impossible to tell them about from Lao speaking Issan people.

What would you class as good Lao food?

I went to Lao and thought that the food was far better in Thailand.
