Hy There.

I Just discovered the 6-month passport validity requirement. The thing is that my trip is booked for 03/march and my passport expires 29/JUN.

I'm tring to renew my passport, but not sure if I can get before 03/march.

So, I would like to know my changes of getting busted in the imigration. Does anyboy got back home because of this requirement?

tanks

Any info is good info.

It would be the airline you might have a problem with. They may not let you on the plane because if they bring you in with an invalid passport I believe they have to take the cost of taking you back.

I concur with PLP it will be the Airline that will stop you, even before you get on the Plane.

You have just under 4 weeks to get a new passport which is very achievable IMHO, I lost my passport in LOS and had it back in 3 - 4 weeks and the only reason it took that long was it was christmas and the Thai internal mail system is slow.

All I can say is do it ASAP.

I hope it all works out for you buddy.

The above two comments are correct mate.

Get a new passport asap.

I see you are Brazilian. Do you need a visa for Thailand?

If so, the passport validity would make it hard to get a visa too.

Cheers.
