Just wondering if anyone has any recent experience with the Thai consulate in Sydney ?

 

I previously got a tourist visa by post last year but a little insert they sent back said they are not accepting further applications by post.

 

Going in to the consulate in person is going to be a major pain in the arse but I need a double entry tourist visa for my upcoming trip.

 

Anyone know if this is just bullshit and you can still actually just mail it in ?

I was going to suggest sending it to Canberra but I found this on their website: All visa applications MUST be submitted in person at the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra or at your local Royal Thai Consulate office. The only exception is for applicants in WA as there is now no consulate there.
