Need a girl-UNfriendly hotel

I'll be in bkk with the wife next month and I need to book a hotel with no evidence of what's available on my other trips.

 

I usually stay in hotels around nana/soi cowboy and also in Thonburi when I'm attending meetings.

 

Thonburi is too far from the touristy things (she's never been to LOS) and the other areas/hotels I usually stay have too much flesh everywhere.

 

Can anyone recommend a really family friendly hotel that won't have guys with their companions wandering around and by the pool?

 

We want somewhere in a convenient location, modern, and preferably below 2000 Baht.

I would recommend finding a hotel down my the river. They are far enough away from the action areas so not much evidence of what is on offer. Plus I think for a holiday it is the best location. Go for a drink at the bar on the top floor of the Hilton amazing views over the river and city.
