Kiteboarding in Pattaya

any kiteboarder on this board?

 

I was curious to know if there is any good places/instructors to learn kiteboarding while I am there.

 

I am new to that sport so I can basically just get up but can't change direction smoothly yet so I probably need a day or two of lessons while I am there.

Am I the second kiteboarder here in 2 months?..

 

I talked with profis about kiting in Thailand before my summer trip and have been told it's better to spend one's time on diving than on waiting for the wind here. My own googling showed that it's possible, there are some spots near Pattaya, but I haven't tried it on that trip.

Just go to Najomtien, there are some places where you can rent out some stuff and even can get some lessons if you are up for it
