Hi fellows, I will be heading down to pattaya for my first time around the mid of January and was thinking of staying in the Galaxy Suites Pattaya.

So far, i do not see much review on this 'hotel' and would like to see whether anyone who has stayed here before is willing to share their experience.

If it's not good, what hotel would you recommend at around the same budget.

I stayed their in may for 2 weeks

Great location but that is about the only plus if you ask me.

Very noisy until 4am.

First girl free then 500 baht for extra girls.

Frequent power cuts.

expensive mini bar.

No balcony or view from the room.

loads of other hotels for the same price.

I stayed there for 5 nights earlier in the year and would agree with lbfmlover. It has the feel of a short time hotel. The bed/TV and wi-fi are good, but the rooms are a bit claustrophobic. Can't beat the location though.

Well appointed rooms, but they are small and the bathroom is small too. But the shower is good and strong.

A new BG asked an experienced BG what was the difference between the Long Con and the Short Con. The experienced BG replied... The Long Con takes longer, but the rewards are far greater.

Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.
