I recently stayed in club blu,in soi Buakauw,just wanted to know other peoples thoughts on the place,rooms,ladies you know what i mean cheers

I could not get a room there the last time I was in town all booked up. I went by a few nights to check out the bar, I liked the scene there and I found alot of the ladies very sexy. BUT I taught 600B BF to be to much and I think the ladies wanted 1500B for ST. I think its a good place for a beer early in the night and leave it at that . Just one mans opinion.

Stayed there for three weeks. Didn't spend much time in the actual club, but what little time I spent I felt it was too loud. Was hard talking to the ladies so I left. during my stay I might have spent 2 hours max in the club so it might not be how it usually is. The ladies were nice though.

 

What I can say something about is the rooms. The pretty standard looking well cleaned room. I was staying on the third floor and with a small balcony facing Liquid lounge. The sound from the club below was not louder than from any other bar around, how it is on the second floor I can't tell. I thought I had taken a picture of the room, and I had. But it's so bad it scary so it doesn't add anything. Had no problems at all during my stay, cleaners did a good job. Checked out very late without any problems. I had a standard room. Good size shower area, large enough for two. To my knowledge I had room 31. The balcony was small with no chairs. Two people could stand and talk there but that's about it. On the other hand I did not pick the room for the balcony. In room safe. I would have liked the room a bit larger than it was, but it is like most other standard rooms I have seen in the area. In my mind the price I paid matched the room well.

 

Overall I liked the room. However you don't really get the same welcome feeling as in many of the nearby guesthouses. And that is not due to the staff being unfriendly, quite the opposite, you just don't see anything of them. As the club opens pretty late, you can't sit down and have a slow beer or two with any of them in the early afternoon. Something I like to do. So if that is what you are after better look somewhere else. But if what you need is a good room, a discreet entrance and good location this is the a good option.

 

Would I recommend the place? Yes.

Will I stay there next time? Uncertain, I like the guesthouse feeling, now if I only find one with a little bit larger rooms and a possibly a pool or jaccuzi/tub in the room. Oh did I mention I prefer if it is cheap too. ;)

LK Metro Opposite side to second road.

 

Look for Kiss Food Restaurant opposite Mikes shopping mall on second road, walk up that road towards Areca Lodge and you can either turn left to go up Soi LK Metro (lookout for champagne Agogo) and walk through the SOI (Club Blu other end) OR you can walk to the top and turn left. Just keep walking and you will see Club Blu on the corner of the Soi.
