Do you need to have a steady income for getting visas for tgf. I dont as I work for myself, yet I have money in bank and own my house. All advice on visa to Australia appreciated its lonely here

I answered the question that you asked in a thread asking more or less the same thing. The answer is below. As that thread was the same as this and it seemed seemed to suggest something about marriage (which I don't hink your question is about) I have removed it. I can get that thread back if you want.

 

Is there enough income to pay both your expenses and her? I know that is a question to your question but you haven't given us many details. Also, do you have savings? I think they would have concerns if you spend everything that you earned each month. If I seen that I would conclude that the person did not have any capacity to take on more expenses.

Grenville, if the question hasn't already been answered - the answer is: for Oz you do not necessary need a steady income, what is important is that she or you have adequate funds for your tgf's trip - owning your own business or home or having money in the bank will all help to satisfy the criteria set out in the regulations - a lot of application shave failed because they have not satisfied this to the departments satisfaction.
