Most of the mongerers on this forum would taxi into town on as little as a 3 hr layover for a quickie, not stay out by BKK. Maybe try Trip Advisor or Flyertalk. Better yet, ask Tim from thaihoteldiscounts.com. He's got a thread in the Hotels Forum. He's a straight operator and a BM. wj
