hello ,

i will be doing my 1st trip to KOH SAMET in november and will be staying there overnight .

 

what i need to know that which beach there is better with less crowd(AND HAS snorkeling and night fire shows)?(bit confused as there are so many small beaches)

also

where to stay (budget 1000-1200) weekday

 

do u think booking from a travel booth in pattaya the entire trip will be affordable and better??

lastly

 

 

i want to do some SNORKELING but shallow water as i DONT KNOW TO SWIM but loved snorkeling on my phi phi island trip so want to do it once more..

 

ps: im also at going through some posts here on this forum

If you do a search on here for koh Samet you should find loads of stuff.

Sai Keaw beach I would suggest is the best area on the Island

yes i cant swim (what a shame) but i remeber when i had taken the phi phi ,koh lant Phuket trip they had taken us to some private island where i cud do snorkeling on the shore..

Ao Kiew Beach in the southern part of the Koh Samet is great. Not many people and clean. Good for snorkeling and boating. Just was there last week and it's a beautiful beach.

I have stayed here many times, great website, just click on the bungalow you fancy and a pic will open up, i like the 28-32 ones, out of the way, warning its very quiet there, last time i saw no fire shows, very few beach harkers, they have there own private boat

I have always just had a fan room, avoid weekends as they get busy, you can get a mini bus from Patts, about B200
