The Metropolitan is the best place to stay

I usually stay at the metropolitan when I visit Bangkok and it is one of the finest hotels in Thailand. I have stayed in a couple of other hotels as well (Banyan Tree and Shangri La), but for metropolitan is really close to my heart. They have excellent service, wonderful rooms with fruit baskets everyday, brilliant breakfast menu, amazing pool on the outside, great ambience, pleasant staff. The metro station is just a few mins away, so is starbucks. It is right next to Banyan tree which I liked too but I prefer metropolitan. Banyan tree is like 60 floors, but metropolitan is not a high rise, very comfortable and peaceful.
