Does anyone know if it is possible to hire a car from Nakhon Sri Thammarat airport, if so which company and rates etc.

When I was in 2008 in Nakhon Si, I saw a car rental from Nakhon Ruam Toon Company at the airport.

 

Sometimes a private car including driver is cheaper than a car from official car rentals.

Thanks Benny but they don't seem to have a website, how would you book one of their cars? I don't want to turn up and find there are none available. None of the big companies seem to operate out of NST.

No worries mate, I’d just turn up.

 

If nothing is available at the airport, just ask the next taxi driver, who has very likely a “brother” who can help out with his car.

Most Thais are quite inventive when it comes down to generate some extra income. TIT.

 

And be careful, Nakhorn Sri is home to lots of beautiful TGs.
