How exactly did they rip your Thai pal off?

If they really are a limited company, you can track down the identities of the directors etc via a Companies House look-up.

I just did a quick trace via Google. That produced a statement that the company is a registered OISC adviser. If that's the case, take the complaint to:

The Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner

5th Floor

Counting House

53 Tooley Street

London

SE1 2QN

Telephone: 0845 000 0046

Fax: 020 7211 1553

If you have evidence of this make a complaint to the OISC in the UK, why did they not use an agent who has demonstrated proven ability with applications.

His name is Mr. Ruangwit Chansuay and the Restaurant belongs to his sister

I cannot see them registered on the OISC web site ?

If they are based in Thailand they do not have to be registered with any organization.

Nor can I.

Here's a profile suggesting that the company is 'authorised' by the OISC: http://www.cylex-uk.co.uk/company/asian-resource-management-ltd-17521471.html

However, the specific e-mail address is anonymised and the 'home-page' click only leads to something called asianarm.co.uk, a site that provides nothing more than a list of other enterprises that lead in web-circles back to the asianarm site.

So .... OP ought first to call the OISC to establish what procedures and documentation is required to launch a complaint and advise his pal accordingly. Read this first:

It is illegal to offer immigration services in the UK unless you are registered with the OISC if he can prove that they received payments etc then he may have a case.

If the application was prepared in Thailand and payment was made etc then he will have no case but the we have no explanation as to what they did wrong ?
