Hello ... been thailand 2 times .. done the pattaya thing ...

goign to meet a girl ... in nakhon phanom ... any advice

place to stay ..(seems like theres only one hotel)

and things to do .. besides the girl ...

any suggestions

I would really recommend a trip to this place. You'll never forget it. It'll take a few hours to get there from Nakhon Phanom but it's well worth the effort. Years ago I used to stay at the First hotel, mind you it was a dump then so I wouldn't be surprised if it's gone now. There are other hotels in the town center so don't be scared to just turn up without a booking.

Seriously, just turn up in Nakhon Phanom without a hotel booking. Any Tuk Tuk driver will find you a hotel in minutes. Here's a GPX file I made with my GPS to help you locate the temple. Just unzip it and drag it into Google earth and it will zoom into the exact location. Unfortunately the satellite photography is not too great for that area but it will show you how near it is to Nakhon Phanom WatPhuThawk.zip
