Given most internet users search for porn it's a shame google filters out those results from the live preview and suggestions even with safesearch turned off. I guess if it was on all it would suggest is utter filth .

Its pretty damn amazing they can do it. Shame you have to log in to use it.

 

Anyway im one of these people that likes to pull things apart and i found problems within minutes of discovering it. It will get better. I dont like being logged in to google as it they are recording your searches against your name. Invasion of privacy!

I thought that they already recorded searches against your internet address ? I'm not a big fan of Google's Big Brother techniques either, but the more powerful and pervasive they become means that the alternatives are limited.

Possibly... i know that if logged into google they are able to put a search history to a name of a person. They are very big brother and in ways im loving the technology they keep bringing out... well except for their new silly OS thats on its way!

 

What i really dont get is how the hell they manage to keep all this data on billions of users worldwide. They must have millions and millions of hard drives storing all these logs. What can they possibly do with all this data? where do you even start?
