Koh Lanta - some small amount of info

Hey all

 

Just wanted to give a little heads up on Koh Lanta. I have been there in July (low season) for the last 4 years usually with the wife or chaperones but this year I was with a single mate as well.

 

There is not a lot of action available - in fact most of the bars are closed - but about 3 k's out of Saladan on the left side of the road you will see a small row of karaoke bars with bamboo seating outside and at night it is lit up like xmas. All of these girls are available at standard prices. Most have ST rooms on premises but all seem to do LT as an option. We were the only westerners there & english speakers are rare but it can be quite fun. Also attached are some 'massage' places that look promising as well. Most of the girls are from Chang Mai.

 

A little further up the road also on the left, is a pub about 100 metres back from the road - apparently a good spot for freelancers when it is active.

 

In Saladan there are a couple or 3 potential massage places.

 

Not a haven for adventure but KL is a great place for a relax - ppl are great and it is pretty chilled.
