I am only here another ten days. I fly home on the 17th.

 

Is there a risk of getting in trouble, or fined? I will go on Monday (60 days)

Actually I will have stayed 61 days in Thailand on Monday.

 

So I will be one day over 60 days on my tourist visa. Can anyone tell me what to expect when I get to immigration on Monday?

Well you have actually answered your own question...lol. The reason why you don't leave it to the last day is if that day is a holiday you will over-stay your visa. Sorry, I can't help you but hopefully someone else can.

my understanding is that you will be fined for overstaying your visa this is a certain.

 

If the BIB catch you then you will be locked up and taken to court fined then immigration....

 

This could lead to you being refused a visa in the future....

 

Why not just go and get an extension and be done with it....

 

But as they say up to you..............

A one day overstay is no problem - they even waive the fine at the airport if it's only 1 day.

 

You _could_ get into trouble if you were arrested for some reason on your last day and they saw you were over, but as long as you're a good boy you'll be fine.

when you go to the immigration in Jomtien they will make you pay a small fine and then give you another 30 days. They will tell you that you should have went on Friday if your expiration is on a weekend or Thai Holiday
