I've been taking Lipitor for about 10 years, always had insurance so cost wasn't an issue. But now I don't have insurance and the stuff is expensive. Since I'll be in Pattaya soon, I was wondering if any of the pharmacies sell lipitor or the generic atorvastatin. Any of you guys ever buy it? and if so how much were you paying. I'm about out and if I can get it in Patts, it'd be better than paying retail for it here in the states.

 

I can't take Zocor or it's generic Simvastatin do to liver issues.

 

Ranbaxy Laboratories in India is making a generic under license from Phizer and it's now being sold in Malaysia and Vietnam. The generic be sold in the US in November 2011. Ranbaxy sued Phizer in 2007 and they just settled in June.

 

So I was thinking (hoping) it might be in LOS too.
