giving 49.55 for a £. Should be well over 50 to the £ in Patts.

Arriving back in Patts 5 Nov. extra Baht in the pocket well be really appreciated!

I got 46 at the airport - Don't change money at the airport. If you thought all currency exchange desks offered the same rates, you thought wrong!!!!!!

what airport? theres no way it can be 46 in bangkok airport is there. surely not...how can it be more in england than it is in thailand. unheard of.

If he's talking about end of June time, the Kasikorn rate was ~47 then. Given that the exchanges at BKK are run by the two banks who give the worst rate for sterling, then 46 is about right.

 

If you think that's bad, here's the Travelex rate around the same time at Newcastle airport; a shade under 40.
