are the vw cocktail vans still dotted around pattaya

the last time we were there we had a great time at the one near to the royal garden plaza

with buckets of cocktails for 200 baht

just wandering if they are still around

There's a cool one outside Central Festival which projects patterns on the pavement using lasers, one on Soi Diana near the Metropole hotel & also one outside Mixx Disco.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but..........They just closed down! Yep, every last one of them gone. Rumor has it that they have moved up country to sell Sangsom and water to the poor rice farmers of Issan. Now you may think this is crazy but apparently they want to be closer to home. I personally think it's due to a lack of tourists in Pattaya but what do I know.
