sorry if this if a daft question but if the gf is comming to visit me do i tick the tourist box or is to visit friends ie me and my family box cuase if we go ahead and do the visa then she will be doing both the tourist things and visiting my family.can i tick both?

On the first visitor visa application how long can my girl stay in the uk?

 

I have read mixed views?

 

Some say its three months and others say its Six months.

 

Does anyone know the exact duration we can apply for on the first visitor visa?

 

Also does anyone know the form number for the visitor Visa so I can have a look at the questions we will have to complete?

 

Can i download the Visitor visa for from anywhere and if i do it from the uk border agency site will it be different from the one they use in BKK?

Any tourist visa is 6 months duration however you should indicate how long she will stay.
