One Year Visa

After many years of getting a one year marriage Visa here in Thailand

I find myself in a different situation now

 

After getting divorced is there any way I can get a One Year Visa (Not multiple 0 )

 

I am under 50 so retirement Visa is not an option

 

I heard somewhere that I can get a one year Visa because I have my Son living with me?(Half Thai)

 

Any help would be appreciated

I believe you can get a 1 year visa on grounds of having a Thai dependent child.

 

I would go to www.thaivisa.com and post your thread there as the guys there know anything and everything about visa related questions and can give you pointers on exactly the best way to go about things with your particular situation.

It appears i can get a one year visa,

Have to prove i have custody of my son

And show 400k in a thai bank for 3 months

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to get a Non Immigrant "o" Visa ?
