Cheap room for short time

A friend of mine is arriving in Bangkok 1. august around 0600 in the morning. Around 1700 same day he is taking a flight to Nakhon Phanom. Between his flights he would like a cheap room, preferably around lower sukhumvit, just so he has a place to take a bath and put his bag while sightseeing a bit.

 

Any suggestions for a room ?

27 hotel Sukhumvit Soi 22 the second small subsoi on the left coming from Suk a Thai-Chinese hotel probably from the Vietnam Era. I think 250 ST/ 400 LT no fridge I've never stayed there a friend of mine did and I checked out the room much like the Crown hotel on Suk 6.
