Hi Guys,

Have been to Pats 7 times and just love the place, people and the vibe.

I am reasonably well off, not a nobb but want some suggestions on starting / venture capitalling a business which gives me an excuse to come back from time to time. My background is in restaurants/ catering but have business management skills relevant to wider range of ventures. (Sounds like a resume I would through in the bin) but I have always got on well with asians - for some reason.

 

Guys- any ideas??

lots of people on ebay with small businesses selling thai stuff thats easy / cheap to pickup in thailand .. easy if you just need something cheap and simple rather than a big money maker. thats what id do .. if i needed an excuse, and its scaleable if you find something thats sensible to buy in bulk and sells well!

 

i wouldnt fancy taking a part share in a restraunt / bar / guest house or anything with the exchange rate and political turmoil right now!
