Have flights booked Aug1-13

was going to spend decent amount of time in BKK and maybe head to Hua Hin for a few days

but now with the dramas in BKK I'm thinking of Pattaya ( never been )

just a couple of questions if I may

 

1 booked a room in "Secrets" for 995B do you think thats a wise choice for a newbie?

 

2 is there a bus/taxi/van service to Hua Hin?

Why not just book for a couple of days, then you can have a look around and stay or move deciding on your own views. There will be enough rooms available.

 

2 is there a bus/taxi/van service to Hua Hin?

I believe that from Pattaya you have to go via Bangkok, from Bangkok, buses to Hua Hin leave from the Sai Tai Mai terminal about every 20 minutes and take around 3 hours. The price (1st class) is under 200 baht

 

Another option, 1st class bus service connects Hua Hin directly with Suvarnabhumi Airport

 

Then there is always a Taxi

Only book a couple of nights then have a look around to see what else is available, as its quiet im sure there will be plenty of bargains up for grabs

To be honest I'm freaking about potential civil war across the whole nation

hopefully Pattaya will be safe from all the bullshit

but my gut feeling now is telling me otherwise
