We have had two clients this month who have received 10 year bans from entering the UK. They used non regulated advisers who falsified documents and failed to insert previous refusals on the application forms. I now have the job of trying to get both bans reduced to a general refusal under paragraph 41 of the Immigration rules.

 

If you employ the services of an adviser ensure he has demonstrated proven ability with all applications and he is regulated in his own country to give Immigration advice anyone can fill forms in, however demonstrating to the ECO that you meet all the grounds for entry clearance is another matter.

 

 

 

 

(7A) where false representations have been made or false documents or information have been submitted (whether or not material to the application, and whether or not to the applicant's knowledge), or material facts have not been disclosed, in relation to the application.

(7B) subject to paragraph 320(7C), where the applicant has previously breached the UK's immigration laws by:

 

(a) Overstaying;

 

(b) breaching a condition attached to his leave;

 

© being an Illegal Entrant;

 

(d) using Deception in an application for entry clearance, leave to enter or remain (whether successful or not);
