€230 Intel Mac laptop? Fuck yeah!

In an earlier forum post I mentioned I was looking into hackintoshing a Mini10v

 

I'll keep you informed. Bit of a shame that Dell takes 2 1/2 weeks to ship out an uncustomized box.

 

Well, I've received my Mini 10v - nice, bright little unit and only €240. It spent all of 1 boot as a Windows 7 machine.

 

Followed the steps here for installing Snow Leopard on it...super easy install. Switched it on, F2 - turned off Legacy Support for USB in the setup, followed the steps for updating the ktexts and drivers using the Netbook Installer.

 

Boom. 10.6 welcome video. Everything just works.

 

WOW - this rocks!

 

Updated to 10.6.2, looking into 10.6.3 (probably okay, but need to check first) - but fuckyeah, a €230 Intel Mac.

 

Highly, HIGHLY recommended - you'ev GOT to get one!
