Hi guys, just needs some info from experienced travellers. I normally fly with eva LHR to BKK and I am hoping to go in september, I regularly check their site for promotions and use all the normal sites to check prices etc. At the moment for september I always get a rough price of £625 at the moment which I think is steep for low season not school holidays either. Does anybody watch their site enough to know if they do an offer around that period i.e after school hols and before xmas. Or should I bite the bullet and book now with Qatar who come in at around £435 for that time of year. My dates are felxible and I could wait up to the last minute to book, any tips or info ?

personally id go with the Qatar deal.... ive just paid the same going with Emirates last month... £625 seem quite steep to me and my experience is that the flights dont usually come down that much.

spoony, i'd suggest you wait til end of june, early july before you book anything! check out the following websites, as prices vary between the sites ie couple of weeks flight to los in late june was £459 with eva, then went to £407 but now its gone up again...

Cheers for the info/advice, think I will wait till at least july before I buy the tickets in the hope that an offer might appear, can't see that it can be a busy time. If nothing appears Qatar always seem to come up trumps was just trying to avoid a stop and want to add to my silver eva card miles etc. The tilac is going first with our new little future captain of the Thai national football team!!! and she hates stop overs especially with junior in tow. Yeah, I just got a price of $1100 for LAX - BKK in the Evergreen Deluxe class for Oct 1-18. Good price for the upgraded seat class.

Waited till july and paid way to much by the sound of it. Booked through West East in the end paid to high for mine but not bad for junior and the other half. Just been looking for next april with Eva and getting prices of £444 which is a bargain and maybe worth flexing the credit card for.
