So, newbie here...How does a taxi back out of Pattaya work?

I keep reading about baht bus's and how taxis are not allowed in certain areas...I've narrowed myself down to staying at The Grand or Areca Lodge....Does Mr. T or other taxi services come to the hotel directly, do you have to take a baht bus somewhere else, etc?

 

Sorry, trying to get the lay of the land here....

 

Oh, and I'm referring to when I need to take a taxi back to the Bangkok airport...especially if I am flying back out late at night/early in the morning.

Are you on one of those dang 7am flights like most of us returning to the States? Anyways, you'll be booking a taxi in advance. The driver will pick you up at your hotel.

Mr t will pick you up from your hotel and time you wish no problems

when i use to fly straight back to the states i usually do my last day in bkk. that way you are not in a super rush in the early morning. plus you get to see a bit of bkk that way too...

 

any ways. the taxi service will pick you up any where. any time. and take you almost anyplace...
