Going out in luxury

After looking at my flight itinerary it seems I'm flying out at a tad past midnight on Feb 2nd, making Jan 31st my real final day. I'm going to end it all with a bit of a bang and blow some money on a 5-star hotel to go along with the 2+ ladies who'll be accompanying me ... for free of course ... nah, just kidding ... paying for that too.

 

Not kidding about the hotel, though. I take it tat every single hotel in this city is guest friendly, but with the 5-star price tag I want to make sure before I drop 5-digit baht on a room that'll let me bring some friends over without any hassle.

 

Dusit 2 Baraquda fit the bill? After seeing a bunch of photos of their rooms I'm pretty sure I'll go there, unless someone has an even better suggestion or some warnings about the place. The Marriot seems too family oriented.

Be prepared to dig deep. Those posh hotels normally charge a 'guest's fee' and it can be in the region of 1000 baht.

The D2 Baracuda will charge you 1,000 baht per guest. Try the penthouse at LK Renaissance or Metropole if you really want to splash the cash. Great rooms.

Dusit Barrcuda is not a 5* property. I would say between 3 – 4* and initially designed to target the gay market in Pattaya.

I you want to bring 2 girls and stay in luxury I recommend to book some serviced apartment.

if you want to go full tilt try the sheraton.

the trick is to check in with a girl (your paying for double occupancy anyway) and pay the 1,000 for the other (sometimes you get away without paying as i did in the amari ocean tower, i took a 3some and two singles back there).
