When do the "proposed fees " come into effect?

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction - "it was just the internet.." is not an excuse.

solution.......... move to thailand.

The UK is a less attractive place to live every year, and for so so many reasons will be even less attractive within the next few years.

Be it the pensions crisis, unfunded government liabilities(unpaid debt), bank bailout funding(also unaccounted/unpaid debt) the quantitive easing(printing of money not backed up by anything).

Who in their right mind would want to live here? let alone bring anyone else to live here?

  • 2 weeks later...

It looks like there is no increase to the cost of a 6 month visit visa. UKBA are of the opinion that an increase might adversely affect tourism.

That's a fairly shocking increase for the 2 year dependant? Or am I reading it incorrectly? Thats nearly an extra £1000?

Wha's like us?

They seem to be forever making changes to all this. You no sooner get it straight in your head, and they alter it...Arseholes...
