Burnt body of man discovered underneath electric pylon.

 

 

The theft of valuable electric cable is commonplace around Pattaya. In this case, the suspected thief lost his life as he committed the theft. Police Lieutenant Colonel Jackgarin from Banglamung Police Station was called to an area of land behind the Pattaya Park Hill Village early on Tuesday Morning after a badly burnt victim of what appeared to be an electric shock was found underneath an electric pylon. Although the wires above appear to have been disturbed, Police are also investigating the theory that the man may have just climbed the pylon in a bid to end his life. Local Residents reported a power outage at around 11pm on Monday Night for one hour, which is most likely the time of his death. The victim was not carrying any forms of ID and locals cannot identify the man. A post mortem examination is now underway to confirm the cause of death.
