When do you need a transit visit for GF?

If GF was travelling from Bangkok to Belgium via UK does she need a transit visa for the UK? She is not stopping over and just catching a connecting international flight a couple of hours later. Don't think she days but want to double check.

as long as she doesnt leave the airport she hasnt visited england, i dont think she needs a visa for the uk traveling through like that. although checking with an embasy will clear it all up for you cos theyre know the RULES and are up to date with them.

Hi, as UK is not Schengen, you should e-mail or phone Ambassy to be sure about it.
