Is it suntan weather?

Hi people!

 

Im flying over to Pattaya on wednesday, ive been working in China so now look forward to a 5 week break in the promised land before i head back to the UK for another year of graft.

 

Is there any decent sun in Pattaya at the moment or is it the same hot but cloudy atmosphere?

I could do with a bit of colour i think ive turned grey out in China haha, or yellow one of the 2.

It's winter time here, so weather is great mate. Be careful, it's quite easy to catch a sunburn, specially when coming from polluted, grey China.

A little bit of sunburn sounds great haha, i am looking forward to the heat. By the way do you know of anywhere good to go on xmas day, im looking for somewhere to get a good xmas dinner and try and take in the xmas feeling u know.

 

Im stayin in the Butchers arms up to xmas and maybe onwards so it maybe an idea with it being an english pub.

Was hoping to get to Samui for new years but ive checked all flights for the run up to the 31st and all airlines are fully sold out to Samui, CRAZY! Looks like the full moon party maybe off the cards then. Im sure il find summit to do down Walking Street though.

If you really want to go koh samui check for a plane from U-Ta-Pao airport OR you can take the train to Suratthani and the ferry to Samui which takes a little longer but is cheaper.

As I'm not too much in Farang food, I can't advise where to get great X-mas food, but there's plenty of choice out there.

How long does a train ride take? Is it aircon or is it a bad ride? I really fancy the full moon partyy on new years eve.

What other places are their around Thailand? Im looking for a real relaxing place with nice white beaches and obviously nice girls. Ive been comin to Thailand for 5 years now but only ever get to Phuket and Samui and obviously Pattaya.
