i was hoping to have a trip to cambodia whilst im in thailand in janaury,iv got a 60 day tourist visa,anyway if i leave thailand and go into cambodia would my tourist visa be finished and would i have to get a new visa to enter thailand again,ive only got a single entry visa.and how much and how long would the visa be to renter thailand.any advice.

Yes, once your leave Thailand your tourist visa is gone. If you arrive at a land crossing they will give you 15 days while arriving at an airport will get you 30 days. There is no fee for a visa-waiver stay (ie when you arrive with no visa.)
