The Emerald Hotel - Bangkok

A buddy of mine is considering this hotel whilst on business in Bangkok...has anyone got any feedback?

 

He is NOT a fellow monger (that I know of) and just wants a nice boutique corporate hotel...from the website, this looks pretty good, but wondered if anyone had a boots on the ground experience with it.

Looks to be about $80-$100 USD/night rack rates for superior room, bit more for a suite.

If you don't get any replies on PA then I suggest that your buddy goes to tripadvisor for opinions of this hotel.
