does anyone know the bar complex opposite the sunbeam hotel between soi 7 & 8? the last three or four times I have been out I generally end up spending most of my drinking baht in one of these bars. before that I would generally donate my baht to poppys bar on beach road just on the corner of central road. I normally stay at Rosie O'Grady's and find the staff and management really good and trustworthy, their rooms are always clean and thier rates are not too bad.

are you talking about the bars that have live bands cloud 9 etc between soi 7 and 8 ??

If coming from beach Rd do you mean the bars just after GoGo bar like 5 or so in a row?

Soi Night Out is the little soi it's on I believe, but would have to drop by to see if it's actually got a name for the complex. I've never noticed one, but I'm usually just passing by and maybe stopped there once or twice.

The little soi between 7 and 8 is called Soi Sunbeam by the locals, because it runs behind that hotel... Yes, there are a few beer bars there.
