Just got an unlocked GSM phone back home so all i need is a damm sim card. So when i purchase the sim it will have a number assigned to that card? Additionally where do you buy them? 7-11? Thanks

The prepaid SIM will have the phone number prominently displayed on the package. If you fancy a particular sequence, the retailer may let you look through the stack to pick one out. They are available at almost all convenience stores, electronics outlets, markets and in BKK airport.

You will have to activate the card first. Instructions are included with the card, no problem at all. You could also ask at the shop to activate it for you.
